Rick facilitates strategic planning, writes grants, and acts as a thought partner for organizational leaders. Rick began his career teaching in Chicago Public Schools. While in the classroom, he also began leading professional development working with other teachers across the city. In 2010, Rick moved to the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation. While working in Evansville as an instructional coach, he led professional development, guided curriculum mapping, led data analysis, and conducted classroom visits. Rick joined the Indiana Department of Education team in 2015. Working
alongside leaders at all levels, he supported over 40 school districts by providing professional development, coaching, strategic planning, and assessment literacy. Rick graduated cum laude from the University of Evansville. He also holds a Masters of Science in Education.
